~ REAL MEN LOVE CATS. ~
*PNF opposes the removal and relocation of feral feline colonies from their natural environment. PNF only supports the removal and relocation of a feral feline colony if the environment threatens the quality of life and survival of the colony (i.e. extensive physical changes are being, or have been, made to the environment; abuse and/or killing by humans). PNF strongly opposes the euthanasia of feral felines. Spay/neuter is the humane solution to population management, not murder.

PNF operates by donations only and is a not-for-profit organization that has not yet applied for 501(3)c status. PNF operates by coordination of foster care homes and does not have a facility. PNF operates on very limited resources: members, space, and funds. Intake of felines is limited to strays found by PNF; PNF routinely finds a high quantity of strays throughout Owen & surrounding counties. Acceptance of stray felines found by others is extremely limited and never guaranteed; owner-surrendered felines cannot be accepted, (unless PNF finds reason for exception, which is rare). If you have found a stray feline(s), PNF requests that you serve as the foster parent or make arrangements for someone else to serve as the foster parent. If you communicate clearly and responsibly with us during the foster period, then PNF will work diligently to help you find a forever home for the feline(s) by sharing information, pictures/videos, etc. on PNF websites and publications. Though PNF desires to ultimately ensure the well-being of all felines, realistically PNF is but one stone in the long road towards a solution. A successful rescue must follow strict guidelines to continue to operate in a positive, humane manner. PNF would rather operate on a very small scale with these guidelines in place than on a larger scale that is poorly organized and risk losing touch with their founding morals.
